The Nokia Conversations blog have posted a round-up high quality apps to use to keep an eye on the currently running 3,200km Tour de France cycling race.
Le Tour is a free app that gives an overview of each of the stages, current standings, a #tdf ‘tweets’ news hub and results as they come in.
Everything Cycling, is another free app for more serious cycling fans. While not specific to the Tour de France, it contains feeds from Cycling News and VeloNews and allows you to filter information, for example, you can search for your favourite cyclist or by subject.
Lastly MetroTour is a £0.79p app has the latest standings, a live Twitter feed, a database, which can be accessed offline, about the stages, riders, teams and even includes historical information about the Tour de France. It also lets you pin categories to your screen.
