The New Nokia
By now, many of us have already heard or read about Nokia selling its Devices & Services division to Microsoft. The deal will close early 2014.
After that, Nokia will still exist though. Nokia will continue with its 3 remaining business divisions:
1. NSN or Nokia Solutions and Networks (3g, 4g LTE, 5g ,or mobile networks, mobile broadband
and solution services for mobile operators around the world). http://nsn.com/
2. Here (mapping and locating). We have come to know Nokia´s Here services in Lumia phones, such as
turn by turn navigation, walking navigation, CityLens, LiveSight, Here Transit, Nokia StoryTeller, the upcoming Dragons Adventure game and so on.
Nokia´s Here division will still power these services in phones, tablets and on internet everywhere.
Here´s biggest customers are: car industry (80% of cars with GPS are using Nokia´s Here navigation).
Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Yahoo, Facebook etc. are using Nokia´s Here maps and locating services.
Nokia is co-operating with car makers around the world to make cloud connected or smart cars and autonomous cars AKA self-driving cars. http://here.com/
3. Advanced Technologies
Apart from licensing Nokia´s invention patent portfolio, Nokia is doing researching and developing new
materials, sensing, video and audio coding and so on.

Nokia Lumia 1020 is the only smart phone on the planet that has made into Digital Imaging category at CES 2014
No other smart phones on earth could win the honor in digital imaging, except the Nokia Lumia 1020.
CES will showcase the honorees in January 2014 in Las Vegas. This marks the winning in smartphone imaging revolution for Nokia. Congratulations Nokia! You guys have done it!
Lumia 1020 is a good smartphone and a good digital camera at the same time.
It is light and thin enough to be your daily driver, and the build quality is amazing.
Beside yellow, you can have other color options too. I don´t mean the other cameras are
bad, but look how bulky and unconvinient they are, and they can´t be used as a smartphone either!

Last year, Adrian Peterson was selected as the 2012 MVP for the NFL. While his team, the Minnesota Vikings, didn’t make it far in the playoffs, he still set some pretty awesome records for his rushing efforts.
Right now he’s getting ready for the 2013 season, but he’s doing it with flair. He’s doing it with a Nokia Lumia 1020.

Two days in release #Lumia1020 gets nealy 1500 buyer reviews at Suning, China.
Either, Lumia 1020 is getting much popular and seeing awesome traction or its buyers are really fond of writing reviews. Just two days in release there are nearly 1500 reviews for Lumia 1020 with nearly 500 reviews for each one of the color models. Surprisingly, devices like iPhone 5 have reviews of nearly 700 for each models after so being out for so much time in market. So, don’t know about anything else but seems it will eclipse every other device in number of reviews very soon
.
It is also really awesome to see 100% recommendations and 5 star ratings for the device!!
